    The Top 5 Lego sets often appears in Toy lists, all year round, but especially at Xmas, and for many this is a good way to determine what’s good and what’s not. The same can be said in the Lego community and AFOL, they also have opinions on what sets are good, what’s not, what’s expensive, what a waste of money, what figures it has, doesn’t have etc… so with all these opinions, it can be difficult to determine what’s best. But if I was buying Lego this year with what’s currently out there and I hadn’t owned any sets, here’s my little list.

    Bricklive is an event held during the year that celebrates all things Lego, these are held in big cities like London and Birmingham, They have been going a few years and have interaction with Lego, shops, and displays.

    Twycross Zoo is a Zoo that focuses on conservation which has a variety of animals indoors and outdoors, and their message carries of conservation follows through the whole place. Its located a the Village of Twycross near Hinkley, Tamworth with Coventry and Birmingham not far.

  • Lego 75810 – Stranger Things – The Upside down

    Lego 75810 is based on the popular Netflix show Stranger Things, in which it follows the events in the town of Hawkins, and the set shows the iconic scene of the Byers House both from the normal and the upside-down. The Set has a healthy 2287 pieces and 8 mini-figures! alongside the snapshot of their house is the Sheriff’s car.

    Over the years we haven’t always been big Halloween fans, we haven’t always dressed up, we haven’t always done things like Trick or Treat. Sometimes I’ve been working, or we have been busy, ill or one of the kids have had something on or themselves being ill. I think back and we haven’t always been in that spirit, with Xmas, we are huge fans and go all out, Films, decorations, music, presents generally having fun

  • Ask Italian – A Dad’s Dinner Review

    Ask Italian is British owned style restaurant that focused on “Authentic Sicilian Kitchen” which is also the acronym of the ASK name, it’s part of the group that also owns Zizzi and Pizza Express. Its been around since 2004 but has been bought a couple of times and the companies group expands. The Restaurant we visited was based in Norwich.
