  • Diary of our COVID 19 Lockdown | October 21

    Last year in March I decided to do a Lockdown Diary, these were weekly but with the return to a bit more normality, kids back to school everything starting to open, I moved it to Monthly, and with us still, in and out of Lockdown each month was continuing through our journeys. It was October, normally a big month for us with Half term and Halloween which is one of our favourite times of the years, it was arguably the month where we were much more back to normality even if the country is up and down.

  • Alton Towers | Scarefest 2021

    Alton Towers is the largest theme park in the UK and arguably the most known, it’s full of rides for all ages and is part of the merlin group of attractions which means you can use your Merlin Pass. It’s Halloween time and Alton Towers is one of those attractions that go all out, it’s very popular every year and will often sell out quickly which tells you how in-demand it is, even this year with Covid precautions still in place.

  • Legoland Windsor | Brick or Treat 2021

    LEGOLAND is located in Windsor near London and is home to all things lego its part of the Merlin group in which you can also your Merlin Passes, from displays to rides, attractions to fun play areas, it’s great for kids and Lego fans alike. Halloween is always a big thing for merlin parks and Lego has always gone big with Brick or Treat in their efforts to celebrate it, so how is going this year?.

  • High Altitude | Dad Review

    High Altitude is a Trampoline park filled with activities sports and classes all featured around Trampolining, which can be great fun, but also a variety of health benefits. Their mission “Is to work with the local community to provide a FUN, SAFE and HEALTHY and INCLUSIVE environment for families to enjoy, no matter age or ability” is something at the core of what they are trying to do, that ould get missed by the fun of it all.

  • Thorpe Park | 2021 Post Lockdown Return

    With the Lockdown being here on and off for over a year, May 2021 was potentially towards opening up to normality, With theme parks allowed to reopen how were they getting on? how were they dealing with Covid and social distancing procedures with time to adjust? this time we looked at Thorpe Park a place we visited last year during the covid Era, but with it all still feeling fresh and new at the time.

  • What are we looking forward to after Lockdown?

    With Lockdown hitting in 2020, and then two further lockdowns following we saw a stop-start time over several months, so much so over a year and for like ourselves we have seen very little out of either being at home or at work, the same goes for the children as they have also been either at home or a school…sometimes.

    Theme Park Apps have become a much bigger thing over the last few years, with many of the top attractions and Theme Parks having them. As I’ve visited a few places over the last years I’ve begun to download and use most of them, but are they worth it? should you use them? What’s the point of them?
