Budget

Since budget is a priority, look to stay off-property. There are many great hotels called “Disneyland Good Neighbors” which offer you the same benefits you can get staying on property. Unlike WDW, you can take advantage of Magic Morning, Disneyland’s equivalent of Extra Magic Hours if staying off property at a Good Neighbor hotel. There are a variety of hotels off property to fit every taste and budget.

Another way to save money is to get Disney gift cards. You can pick them up at any Disney Store in your local mall or online. You can purchase them for amounts from $25 up to $500. They are a great money-saver and you can use them at most restaurants and shops around Disneyland.

Websites you can use?

Look up ticket brokers such as ARES Travel, www.arestravel.com, Get Away Today Vacations, www.getawaytoday.com, where you can get packages that include vouchers for meals. You can also get your park tickets and packages directly on the Disneyland site.

Need transportation? Check out the ART system in Anaheim. ART or Anaheim Resort Transit is a bus system that will take you all over the city, anywhere you need to go for a very reasonable fee. You can buy a ticket for however many days you will be in Anaheim and not have to worry about getting around. Check out www.rideart.org for more information.

Before you go, check out any discounts you may be eligible for. Are you a member of AAA? Check into that. Are you an annual pass holder at Disneyland? If you are or would like to be, this is a great way to save loads of money on your next trip. You can use your AP card to save on merchandise purchases, dining, you can get special rates to various hotels that are just for Annual Pass holders, and access to members-only events.

Entertainment

You can also buy the Entertainment book which gives you hundreds of discounts on dining, shopping, and entertainment. Check out www.entertainment.com for details.

These are just a few of the many ways to save and have a great time on a trip to Disneyland. Now you just have to get out there and have fun!
