My GeekBox is Company that provides Mystery Boxes based on Pop culture themes, these can range from Harry Potter to Star Wars, to Marvel to Disney, and an assortment of TV series and Movies etc… These can be purchased as a one-off or part of subscriptions, and can also vary throughout the year, on their site you can also buy individual items like a normal shop etc.

I had heard of the company before but hadn’t got round to purchasing these, so when we visited MCM Comic Con in London at the end of last year I saw these smaller versions of there boxes, as they were a good price I decided to buy a couple and see what type of items were in there. As a family, we are big fans of many of the pop culture items that could be in these boxes, and between us all, we are pretty covered, however, Tigger and I, in particular, are fans of these type of items.

Fallout

Pin badges are hugely popular with certain people and often covered their bags coats etc, so to see this one here was a good start, Fallout is a franchise I’m very familiar with based on my past in the gaming industry, the Sunset Sarsaparilla Pin Badge looks great as its in the style of the bottle cap with the lovely red and metal effect.

Funko Dorbz

Funko are a big brand, and have a big following especially with there Pop figures, inside this Box is there Dorbz Marvel Series 1 figure, a special edition of Hulk/Red Hulk! which looks awesome. If you are a fan of those style Figures like Pop or Dorbz then this is a good item.

Game of Thrones

A stylish Notebook/Memo pad looks rally impressive, Game of Thrones is arguably the biggest program of the last decade and this is designed with a slightly mature feel and theme, inside is a yellow paper to add that level of quality. Boo and i were big fans of the show (though the last two series were a bit off, let alone the last bit…)so for me this is great, i will use it for work! lol

Marvel’s Punisher

Within this, you get a Travel mug, which has a unique way of sealing and dispensing the hot drink which I haven’t had before, the design of the punisher logo looks good in its traditional black designs. Pop fact, love the character, love the original film, loved the Netflix series even more! and hope it returns is some shape or form, for me, this is great as I love coffee and often take it to work and on our trips out.

Overall

Overall this is a smaller box so only having 4 items is for me, looking at these type things on offers at a place like MCM Comic Con is a good idea, they were all sealed and actually filled the box with the range of goods, and that my compliment, it’s quite a different range of categories and products. For me, the quality is really good and now offers me hope for future bigger boxes that I could look at.
