As each month goes by my Diary from a Dad look at what’s happening with our little family, through all the adventures, challenges and obstacles that come to our lives. As a family of 5, with 3 children at different ages every day, week and month can offer something different. It’s June and the weather is nice, we are in the final stretch of school before the summer, and the Half-term had just ended.

Fathersday
This month though had Fathers day, and actually a little bit of normality with balancing work, the kids and a little outings, something we were used to but had slowed down etc… On Fathersday we made a trip to London, we had been there so many times but it was nice to be back as I said doing things a bit more at our family speed. We had the fortune to visit the Back to the Future musical, though we were nearly late…you could tell we were rusty on travelling in London….however being a big fan of the film, as well as Tigger, we were excited to see it.
The girls enjoy the Theatre anyway so they would have enjoyed it, but it was good. Afterwards, we had some dinner at Pizza Hut down the road, one that we had visited a couple of times before when we have been that way, which was a nice feeling, a quick visit to Stratford shopping was always a good day.
Dinosaurs
Films are coming thick and fast and with Top gun being a great film, we took the kids to watch the new Jurassic film, in our house we are big fans of the Jurassic franchise so it was a great family trip out, it may not be the best in the series but it’s still enjoyable and I am biased anyway when it comes to the films.
With work we have been busy, I’ve been adjusted to a new store and a new shift pattern which allows me to spend a bit more time with the kids etc though it limits my time on the Blog etc during the day, as for Boo she as always just powers through and multi-tasks her jobs in our office.
Garden time
We had a little bit of sort out in the garage and garden, as we do yearly, but with a couple of things going it allowed us to get a Basketball hoop, something that Tigger probably enjoys more as a sport than others, Roo has played a lot of Netball so she also enjoys that type of sport etc, this gives all three kids a bit more of something to do in the Garden.
Next month sees the final of school for the year, Roo will end year 10 and the run down to year 11 is on, along with a show and Work experience this month. Tigger’s last few weeks of his school before high school and Piglet will just be Piglet..
