Loot Crate | WWE Slam Stars March 2019

Loot Crates are a website and subscription service that focuses on Pop culture items, their crates also known as mystery boxes, can often being themed or random, even a theme Crate can be a little random, but they often have brands such as Disney, Marvel, Star Wars, WWE and many other toys, film, and TV series items, you can buy these crates as a one-off or in a subscription monthly, Bi-Monthly or quarterly, depending on the offer that’s on.

This Crate was?, Well a WWE one kind of, we have had a few issues with Loot Crate, part of the biggest issue is timekeeping and getting the crate at the time They say!, even before Lockdown this was very difficult, this crate itself was meant to be from March 2019, but after delaying it, losing it, then losing a replacement NXT branded one from June of that year, we finally got something WWE related.

The box is the generic black on the outside which is often used for mailing purposes, but the inside is often a bit more themed, with designs etc, this wasnt im afraid, it also lacked the a leaflet or mini book or something explaining the box and the theme, that is often in there Crates, this feels a bit generic.

NXT Pin Badge

This actually looks ok, the NXT logo similar to the Title belt from last year, but in a badge form, this fits nicely and looks super accurate, for me it reminds me of the time that NXT was really good.

Tomasso Ciampa Sam Stars Championship Series

This Figure is more of statue style collector figurine, not the normal and hugely popular figures, not something you can really play with, the choice of Wrestler is solid, he’s one of the biggest names in NXT there is, but personally, I’m not a great fan of this design but I imagine some collect it.

Kairi Sane Pop up banner

I’ll be honest after much debate in our house we still aren’t quite sure what this is, the overall thought is this is some sort of banner, but the idea is it can pop up and big much bigger, it holds Kairi Sane picture and WWE logo, the design looks ok, and I’ve been a search to find exactly what this is, but I can’t find it, with no info card from Loot Crate I’m not sure.

WWE Tee featuring Ember Moon

Due to injury Ember Moon perhaps hasn’t hit the heights of many of the other Women wrestlers from that era, and is still injured now as of this writing, but I think she’s very good, and not a bad choice for a T-shirt, but don’t get me wrong there are many others that would perhaps be chosen over her to represent the women’s NXT. The design nice and is one of her older ones now, with the colour scheme, Roo Wanted this Shirt so I let her have it.

Overall

So, I’m a big Wrestling fan, I’ve followed WWE for over 30 years, and at this point have had a few Loot Crate Boxes, so I was looking forward to this, as I thought it would be good for us as Roo and Tigger enjoy bits of wrestling also, but actually, I would say this is the worst Crate we’ve ever received, I’ve even checked other peoples Crate from the same time and its different to this, as I said at the beginning the original one seems to not happen,

Then the replacement NXT version was lost, and then we got this, and this feels like just a bunch of NXT stuff they had lying around, I don’t think 4 items is great as well, ive seen more in others and the other WWE crates, The Tee is ok, The Pin badge, is ok but shouldn’t be one of the main things of the crate, the Kairi Sane thing is just pointless, and the figure isnt my thing, most collectors collect actual figures, and these are big business, these Slam statue figures are fine but not great,

But thats it, that’s all you get, needless to say, I was disappointed with this selection, and with all the issues surrounding this and a couple of other boxes we had stopped buying from Loot Crate, they have issues over the last year and I can see why.

Such a shame that you have had so many issues with this particular box. Especially when you’ve been successful previously.

Great that you’ve still shared so honestly though x

Shame that the box isn’t upto standards that others have received of this theme, bit of explaining to do me thinks. I enjoy wrestling, I have ever since I was a young un but not watched WWE for a long time, I did get into TNT a few years back but since ridding the aerial for the freeview and solely streaming only with the likes of Netflix and prime, I don’t really watch or follow it these days.

It’s such a shame Loot Crate when they first started were amazing, I really enjoyed getting their boxes, however as time went on their quality really dropped and they seemed to recycle the same old products.

I am sad to read about your experience. It must be so frustrating! I do not have any subscription boxes and I am still not convinced to sign up for one. Thanks for your honest review.

It does sound like a bit of a random collection! I do love the idea of subscription boxes, although haven’t got any myself, but they have ot be consistently good to really work.

You’re right this doesn’t look like a great box, usually you get a few more items than this so it doesn’t seem all that worth it x

These look like really cool collectibles. I used to love WWE wrestling. I don’t have time to watch it these days sadly.

My husband is obsessed with wwe. I reckon he would be up for getting this and also trying to persuade the girls to be into it too 🙂

This loot crate looks like a huge miss, I showed my hubby your post and he was raging on your behalf! We had a mate that ordered the 2019 WWE one and they didn’t receive it either :/
