Roo is nearly 14, and over the years she’s been a performer and involved in many activities, she enjoys music and is currently all-in on the Tik Tok buzz that’s around. With her tastes, shes enjoys music and listens to things every day through her air-buds, in the variety of things she watches music and films/TV with musicals references are things that she enjoys, she will take any moment any opportunity to do some sort of performance, even just walking around the house.
We have 3 kids, Roo is 13, Tigger is 9 and piglet is 4, essentially they are 3 kids at 3 different age groups and school groups in play, but it’s just how things have worked out over the years, this wasn’t ever planned to be this separated in years but it just happened. Having this distance apart in years means there taste in things is largely different, so can they play together still?
With Halloween approaching, I would normally be planning our decorations and sweets etc, with festivities and fun for both our kiddies and others, the last few years we’ve grown into making a much bigger deal, but this year is different, 2020 has been a challenging year and with the lockdown and worry for many, I don’t if it’s right I should be doing Trick or treat for people.
Back in March I decided to do a Weekly Lockdown Diary with the kids and Boo all stuck at home, and myself still at work because I was classed as a key worker, and as the months ticked on buy we were slowly heading back to some sort of normality, the kids returned to school, I still worked, and Boo was getting back to more of a routine, and this month I decided to move our weekly review to monthly, this was the end of Summer, we squeezed a couple of last-minute outings before the school return.
At the beginning of lockdown, I started this diary to capture our thoughts, what happened, how it all happened and what we did through ti all, with Boo and the kids staying at home and myself being a key worker still out there. This week Was the return to school! and with that how would the back to school go for the kids, oh I had a birthday as well lol.
At the beginning of lockdown, I decided to do a diary of our lockdown lives, looking at what we did, how we got on, and what our thoughts were. I was a key worker so I’ve been at work the whole time while the kids have been at home, and Boo has been doing limited work. This was the last few weeks of the summer holidays! so it was a busy time normally, but this year was a different time.
In our house we love Dinosaurs, all of us have played with toys, watched films, Seen TV shows, visited Dinosaur attractions, even played computer games based on them, our knowledge is fairly ok as we’ve seen and read so many but with all of this we all still really love Dinosaurs, there always something we enjoy.
