Last year in March 2020 I decided to do a Lockdown Diary, these were weekly but with the return to a bit more normality, kids back to school everything starting to open, I moved it to Monthly, and with us still in Lockdown each month was continuing through our journeys. We hit may! 2 bank holidays more easing of lockdown, jabs, and beginning of half term, plus it’s the sunshine returned!

Roo at a younger age enjoyed baking, she liked to be involved whether it was a school or with us in the kitchen, as she has got older she has enjoyed being more of a baker and trying new baking techniques, let alone at her high school where she does even more baking, it’s one of those that hobbies shes enjoyed and stuck with her.

With April upon us and now a full year in this lockdown style rules it was Easter, but with dates coming up, numbers continuing to drop and more Vaccines happening there is a sense of optimism for many.

As a family, they can share many activities and interests, in our household, one of the things we like to do is read, and with several age groups spanning all 3 kids and Boo, this covers quite a lot of different books and different attitudes towards reading and books, one of the places we have used is Books2Door.

Its February! it may not be a miserable month historically like January but its often the first change of the tide in the year, and even in Lockdown it potentially was.

Piglet is now 5, and I’ve previously written a post about her being adventurous, she’s a fearless soul and will often push the boundaries, but alongside this shes very independent, and we’ve noticed over the last 2 years that she is that classic creative child.
