Let’s be honest for years Geek had a stigma to it, Geeks, Nerds, or whatever you wanted to call them had that thing about them, they were always seemed inferior, not cool or something wrong with them, Films, TV real life didn’t help there cause at all, essentially adding fuel to fire but as pop culture and life has changed in the last 20 years, are we now at the point where Geek, etc is now a pop culture reference and actually pretty standard and almost cool? to some people
It’s Halloween Time! and October is the month in our house for Halloween films! We save them all up all year for this month, however after a rollercoaster ride of the last 18 months in the world, and several streaming services, etc what are we watching this year? We look apon Amazon Prie, Disney Plus, Netflix,and Sky Cinema as we narrow down our favourites.

Quentin Tarantino is a world-famous writer, producer and director, he even does some acting in some of his films but often not a major role, he has been involved in a host of films, TV shows and even gaming a little, but he’s known for his films that he was solely involved in, there snot many as he’s not a writer/director that produces 1 to 2 films a year, he’s has a cult following and arguably changed the face of independent cinema in the early ’90s, and began a change in this style of the film.
Disney Plus is a streaming service launched in 2020, and is home to some of the biggest franchises in TV and Film History, with the Likes of Disney Original, Marvel, Star Wars, Simpsons, however, in late 2020 they launched the ability to Group Watch.
Being an 80’s kid I grew up on a selection of films that are still part of pop culture today, Back to the Future Trilogy was one of those sets of films, most people know of them or have watched them, this is one of those films that define the 80’s, but why do I like them? why is it still one of my favourite films?
Action films are some of my favourites, they can have some story but in reality, it’s about the over the top action, this list is based on the films of the modern age, with the advancement in technology etc Action films have seen an improvement of quality also, there are plenty of them around and can differ in brilliance and quality, from B-movies to Blockbusters that dominate cinemas, in which they are often great to watch.
